Peter Sterbach has been teaching piano, voice, flutes, and percussion for 30 years. Thousands of students of all ages and levels have come to him to learn everything from traditional classical music to contemporary and ethnic styles.

Peter's comfortable "Bach to Rock" studio, conveniently located in Santa Cruz, provides a seven-foot Yamaha grand piano, various hand drums and over three dozen flutes, a waiting room with a practice keyboard and even a fenced-in play area for children.

Due to his unique approach, he has been called "The Zen Master of piano instruction."

• Private music lessons cover a wide range of subjects and methods, everything from the most practical to the esoteric.
  
• Students are encouraged to bring in tapes, CD's and sheet music of their favorite songs and performing artists.
  
• Students who show promise and enthusiasm will be selected to perform in recitals.
